I have recently converted an Electric APE Power Max three wheel market style truck into a food delivery vehicle to serve the less fortunate in our city. We will have AHS certify the truck fabrication meets AHS standards for food service; however, I am still in limbo as to the legality of driving the truck itself around Calgary residential and light commercial streets. As far as I know the vehicle does not have a VIN, so I don’t believe it can be registered or insured for road use. I am hoping you’d be able to help point me towards some more information on my rights and responsibilities.
