There have been multiple reports of dealers marking up EVs, sometimes modestly, and other times, like in this case of an F150, egregiously. Some would say this is how free markets work. We at the EVAA are curious if any Albertans have paid over MSRP for the EV?

On one hand, life happens, and perhaps someone’s car dies or is written off in a collision, and they need a replacement ASAP, and a paying a markup seems like a fair trade off to get a vehicle without waiting months. We would love to hear people’s stories, if they would be willing to share.

With rising gas prices, it is super unfortunate that EV supply is so limited, otherwise we would likely be seeing EV adoption skyrocket even faster than it already is, both here, and across Canada.
